In Genesis 1:26-28 we read how God created humankind in his own image and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”

As Christians we don’t really own anything – we have been entrusted with resources, skills, money and time to be used for God’s purposes. In 1. Corinthians 4:1 we are also described as ‘stewards of Christ and of the mysteries revealed to us.’

The Church is the precious Body of Our Saviour Jesus Christ and has been entrusted to us to look after, where we are called upon to take care of Her and it offers us a sacred place where the  Holy Mysteries of Christ can happen for the benefit of all. Stewardship comes from the Greek words “oikos,” which means “household” or “estate,” and “nemo,” which means “to arrange.” The combination, “oikonomous” or “stewards,” is used throughout scripture to refer to many different things.

You can offer your gifts by way of time, money and prayers. In this day and age, with rising costs of utility bills, repairs to the building and health and safety issues and other financial costs , we rely on donations and goodwill from all .

Please consider setting up a standing order for a regular donation, however small, to support the Church and Her Ministries, so we can ensure that the future generations have the safe and warm embrace offered by the Church and our community for  their lives and future generations  ahead.
